This is a simple little program that will create a "Sounds" folder in the System Folder. When ever a System Beep would normally occur, such as clicking outside of a dialog, Sound Shuffler picks from one of the system sounds in the folder and plays it. These are the sounds with the little speaker icon on them. They look like this:
Whats cool is it only uses about 2K of memory and you don't have to keep the system beeps in the System File! It is OS 8, 8.1 compatible. Best of all, it plays the sounds asyncronously... which means that you can keep working while the sound is working.... so you can have a 10 minute sound play as you work if you wanted to..... can be very funny!

Sound Shuffler is totally compatible with the new OS 8.6! Sound Shuffler is now compatible with Norton Utilities 4.0, and it fixes some bugs that caused slow window redraws on some machines under certain conditions.

Development of Sound Shuffler was considered complete. I wasn't going to work on SS any longer, I saw a few other programs out there that do almost the same thing and more, so I figured okay, drop it.
Well, due to positive e-mail from many users, I have decided that Sound Shuffler will live on. I am too busy right now to work on it (unfortunately), but very soon....
